George Scott Racing is taking a direct approach to the UAE racing scene with a new 20-box stable at Meydan, set to open this winter. Horses are expected to arrive by mid-November, just ahead of the busy Christmas racing period. With support from Bahrain's Victorious Forever, the new base is meant to give Scott's team a lasting presence at some of the region's most competitive meetings. According to At The Races, the stable will be ready by mid-November 2026 and will cover the full UAE winter season.
The Dubai yard is located outside the international quarantine zone, which means Scott's horses can run at Meydan as well as Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Jebel Ali. The lineup for the 2026-2027 season already includes Wimbledon Hawk Eye, a Group 3 winner at Deauville, along with West Eiker, Gamray, Commanders Intent, and Saber Strike. The team is also looking to add more horses from the Tattersalls Horses in Training Sale and through private deals. This setup gives Scott's operation more flexibility and access to a wider range of UAE tracks, as reported by At The Races.
"The Dubai base will allow Scott's team to bypass international quarantine restrictions, opening up racing opportunities at Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Jebel Ali in addition to Meydan."

Scott's recent results in the Middle East have set the stage for this move. West Eiker won the Group 2 Blue Point Sprint at Meydan, and Isle of Jura swept the Bahrain Triple Crown. Force and Valor has also performed well on Meydan's dirt, showing the stable can adapt to local conditions. These successes have made the UAE expansion a logical next step for the yard.
Victorious Forever, a major Bahraini owner, is backing the project. Scott is inviting both current and new owners to get involved, offering a chance to compete across the UAE's racing calendar. "We are extremely excited to deepen our commitment to racing in Dubai and across the Middle East," Scott said. "After several productive winter campaigns, the time is right to expand internationally. The Dubai Racing Club's programme offers huge opportunities for all types of horses, and we're building a team to match." At The Races notes that Victorious Forever remains active in major international races in 2026.
"The first major target for the new Dubai base is Festive Friday on 18 December 2026, after which the team plans to participate throughout the Dubai Carnival. The Eve Lodge base in the UK will continue to operate separately, maintaining a presence in Bahrain as well. This dual approach allows George Scott Racing to maximize opportunities across the Gulf region."
The first big goal is Festive Friday on 18 December, but the stable will be active throughout the Carnival and the wider UAE season. Meanwhile, Scott's UK base at Eve Lodge will keep running a separate team for Bahrain, where the yard has already found success.
For George Scott Racing, the Dubai move is a clear step up in international competition. By setting up at Meydan and working with regional partners, Scott is aiming to compete with established names in the Gulf. For owners, this offers a direct route into the UAE's top races. The days of short-term campaigns are giving way to permanent bases and year-round ambition in Middle Eastern racing.
