Medals were presented by Abdullah Rashid Al Muhairi from the council, Thamer Al Shamsi of Al Hamriyah Club, and Khalid Al Shamsi from Hamriyah Municipality. Their involvement reflected the teamwork behind the event. The large turnout and range of winners show how Sharjah's sports calendar is expanding, as seen in the council's recent efforts to support local athletes.
Sharjah's approach to grassroots sport focuses on building a lasting, competitive culture. By organizing events that welcome both experienced and new athletes, the council is setting a high standard for other emirates. The sixth Hamriyah Aquathlon was another step in Sharjah's push to lead the UAE's multisport scene. Organizers now face the challenge of keeping this momentum going and continuing to raise the bar for future races.
