Wojciech Szewczyk beat Eklent Kaci in the 26 September final to win his second World 10-Ball Championship and the $80,000 prize. The Predator Pro Billiard Series also crowned champions in women's 9-ball and mixed doubles.

On 26 September, Wojciech Szewczyk beat Eklent Kaci in the men's final in Ho Chi Minh City. The Polish player won his second World 10-Ball Championship and took home $80,000.

Three events took place during the week.

Kaci had already lost to Szewczyk earlier in the week, in a match to qualify for a place in the playoffs, before they met again in the final.

The other two titles

Germany's Pia Filler won the Poison Saigon women's 9-ball open, held from 21 to 25 September. The 64-player event offered $90,000 in total prize money.

In mixed doubles, Liu Shasha and Hsieh Chia-Chen beat Aloysius Yapp and Silviana Lu in the final to win the Box Billiards Open. AZBilliards reported that this was the first title decided during the busy week in Ho Chi Minh City.

The mixed doubles event ran from 19 to 23 September and drew 48 international pairs. Organisers first planned to invite 32 teams. All the original places filled within 30 minutes, so they expanded the field.

On 23 September, Tuổi Trẻ reported that Dương Quốc Hoàng had lost to Eklent Kaci and that Vietnam no longer had a player remaining in the men's draw.

A deep international field in Vietnam

The Predator Pro Billiard Series Vietnam 2026 ran from 19 to 26 September at Phu Tho Gymnasium, also known as Phu Tho Indoor Stadium. Nova Billiards VN reported that 96 players competed in the men's World 10-Ball Championship for a $300,000 prize pool. The winner took $80,000. Vietnam hosted the men's WPA World 10-Ball Championship for the second year in a row.

Vietnamese players in the field included Duong Quoc Hoang, Luong Duc Thien, Pham Phuong Nam, Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chu Viet Hoang and Bui Xuan Vang. None advanced further. The host campaign's exit left the later rounds to international contenders.

ON Live Esports, part of VTVcab, continued working with Box Billiards Pool Vietnam to produce and distribute tournament content for Vietnamese audiences across multiple platforms.

Vietnam's week produced three international titles, but no home champion. Local players gained direct experience against an elite field. The value of hosting will depend on whether that exposure helps strengthen Vietnam's next generation of contenders.
