Those results closed the first leg of the UAE Federation Cup preliminary round. Al Nasr finished with six points, while Al Wasl lead Group One with four in the 2026-27 season.
Sharjah opened its UAE Federation Cup campaign with a 116-73 win over Al Wahda, according to Sharjah 24.
Al Nasr take control of Group Two
Al Nasr earned six points with wins over Sharjah, Al Jazira and Al Wahda. Sharjah are second on five points. Al Jazira have four in third, and Al Wahda are fourth with three after three defeats.
Earlier in the second round, Sharjah beat Al Jazira 93-81, Sharjah 24 reported. Al Jazira's one-point win over Al Wahda was the closest result of the closing round.
Sharjah 24 described the competition as a preliminary stage followed by quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final, with at least seven clubs divided into two groups. The tournament calendar was listed as running from 17 September 2026 to 31 March 2027, placing these group standings within a longer competition rather than marking a final outcome.
Al Wasl lead Group One
Al Wasl have four points after beating Shabab Al Ahli. Shabab Al Ahli are second on three, while Al Bataeh are third after two losses. These standings cover only the opening leg.
