Ru'ya 2026 runs from 28 to 30 September 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre. The fair runs for three days.
Dubai Health Authority is offering 529 jobs across medical, technical and administrative specialities at six private healthcare facilities. WAM described Ru'ya as a major careers event for Emirati students, graduates and young professionals.
The authority is also presenting training routes for UAE nationals who want to work in healthcare. These include its Nukhba programme, medical internship, residency and fellowship pathways.
Ru'ya 2026 brought together more than 150 employers representing over 23 sectors, placing DHA's healthcare recruitment among opportunities across a broad range of industries.
Training linked to recruitment
Noura Al Midfa, the authority's Director of Human Resources, said Nukhba trains national talent for 12 months under specialist supervision. The programme assesses participants. High performers may be appointed to vacancies based on the authority's actual staffing needs.
Training can lead to a job, but appointments are not automatic. The authority matches high performers to its staffing needs.
Guidance and interviews at the fair
Workshops and interactive sessions explain healthcare roles and training programmes. They cover entry requirements and ways to prepare for work in the sector.
The authority is also interviewing candidates at the exhibition for vacancies across a range of specialities. Interviews are on site.
DHA says its aim is to connect Emirati talent with integrated career pathways extending beyond jobs to education, training, specialisation and continuous development.
A dedicated session covers professional identity on LinkedIn. Participants can learn how to strengthen their professional presence, explore perspectives on the healthcare sector and present their experience and career history.
Dr Khawla Issa Al Hajaj, Director of Medical Education and Research, described investment in national talent as a long-term investment in the future of healthcare. DHA was not the only Dubai health entity recruiting at Ru'ya. Gulf Today reported that Dubai Health offered more than 100 jobs in fields including nursing, pharmacy, laboratories, radiology, physiotherapy and administration.
