At Localizer Mall in Riyadh, 77 players competed across four categories over eight days. The championship featured 138 matches.
Khalid Al-Ghamdi claimed both men's titles, winning gold in the 9-ball and 10-ball events. It was a double-gold performance.
The Saudi Press Agency reported that the championship's prize fund exceeded 650,000 Saudi riyals, which the federation linked to player and youth development and raising the level of domestic competition.
Two men's titles for Al-Ghamdi
In the 9-ball competition, Mohammed Khalfan finished second. Fahd Al-Dhuayan and Al-Waleed Al-Mudayan shared the bronze medals.
Al Riyadiyah reported that Al-Ghamdi reached the semifinals after beating Abdulmajid Kamli 9-8. Fahd Al-Dhuayan also advanced with a 9-8 win over Suleiman Al-Julaidan, while Mohammed Khalfan faced Al-Waleed Al-Mudayan in the other semifinal.
Al-Ghamdi then added the 10-ball title. The event featured 24 players and 43 matches. Mohammed Baabad took silver, while Nawaf Al-Shamardal and Fahd Al-Dhuayan earned bronze.
Two titles made Al-Ghamdi the clear standout of the men's competition.
Gold for women and juniors
Joud Bukhari won the women's 9-ball title, with Roula Ashour taking silver. Lara Al-Zanan and Yara Al-Aboud earned bronze.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the billiards events were scheduled for September 18-25 at Localizer Mall. The broader championship ran from September 19-25, with snooker scheduled separately for October 2-10 at Ronnie's Academy.
Riyadh was not the only recent regional stop for cue sports. In Vinh Long, another title was decided in three-cushion billiards rather than 9-ball or 10-ball.
Nayef Al-Juwaini, chairman of the Saudi Billiards and Snooker Federation's board, said the championship was designed to support player development and national rankings. Al Riyadiyah reported that he also described the event as a high-level domestic platform for leading competitors.
Al-Ghamdi's double title was the headline result, but the championship also gave men, women and junior players a place in the same national competition. Across four categories, 77 players took part in 138 matches.
