El Diario reported the loan as confirmed, citing football intermediary Silvio Fontana. Khor Fakkan have taken Bolivian midfielder Ramiro Vaca from Wydad through May 2027, with an option to buy. He is expected to join international teammate Luis Haquin.

A deal aimed at changing the league picture
Khor Fakkan are 11th after five matches. They have one win, one draw and three defeats. Vaca is expected to add experience in attacking midfield as the club tries to build momentum.
Khor Fakkan's need for points was also central to its earlier Baniyas match preview. The loan offers another response: a player with international experience and spells at clubs in several leagues.

Wydad included Vaca among its five approved foreign players in a September squad list, and later reported that he was away from training during the international break after being called up by Bolivia. AFP also listed him among Bolivia's midfielders for the September 2026 friendlies against Paraguay and Argentina.
Vaca brings club and international experience
Vaca, 27, began his career with The Strongest before moving to Belgian side Beerschot. He returned to Bolivia with Bolívar, where he played from 2023 to 2026, then joined Wydad. In the 2025-26 Moroccan league season, he started all 18 of his appearances for the club. He scored four goals and provided two assists. ESPN's player profile also listed him as a 27-year-old Bolivian midfielder with Wydad at the time of publication.
Vaca has represented Bolivia since 2017, making about 48 international appearances and scoring five goals. Khor Fakkan signed 28-year-old Haquin in August 2026 after his spell with Saudi club Al Tai ended. Haquin is captain of the Bolivia national team. Recent player profiles list him with Khor Fakkan, where he had already made several club appearances in 2026.
Haquin strengthens the back line. Vaca gives the team another attacking option in midfield. The loan is a targeted reinforcement, not a guaranteed fix. Its value will depend on whether Vaca can help turn results around at a club that has lost three of its first five matches.
