The exhibition opened at Expo Al Dhaid on 24 September, after organisers announced it on 20 September.
More than 80 companies and brands are taking part in the fifth edition of "الأصايل 2026". They are showing equipment for horses, camels and falcons. Organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with support from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the exhibition runs through 27 September. Its focus is practical: owners, enthusiasts and sports participants can compare products and services in one place.
Sharjah24 reported that participation has grown by more than 25% compared with the previous edition, with local and international companies and entrepreneurs from different nationalities taking part.
Specialist goods and direct access
The exhibition covers animal care and breeding, stable equipment, transport solutions and supplies for equestrian sports and falconry. Clubs, associations and organisations connected with equestrianism, falconry, camel racing and traditional sports are also taking part.
Exhibitors can show their products directly to owners and practitioners. Visitors can compare options for animal care, transport and equipment at the same venue. A practical focus.
Sharjah organisers back the fifth edition
Among those at the opening were عبدالله سلطان العويس, محمد أحمد أمين العوضي, محمد مصبح الطنيجي and members of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry board. After the ceremony, the guests toured the stands and viewed the products and specialist equipment.
Expo Centre Sharjah Executive Director Saif Mohammed Al Midfa described the exhibition as a platform connecting long-standing experience with horses, camels and falcons to modern products and solutions from specialist companies. He said the event brings heritage knowledge together with contemporary offerings.
Sharjah24 quoted Mohamed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as saying the exhibition creates a direct channel between businesses, suppliers and animal owners. He said holding it in Al Dhaid strengthens the Central Region's standing as a destination for people interested in equestrian sports, falconry and camel racing. Abdullah Sultan Al Owais said the show gives national businesses a platform to present their products.
Al Dhaid has also featured in UAE sport through the shooting squad's journey to Nagoya for the Asian Games, covered in the team's Asian Games trip. "الأصايل 2026" focuses instead on heritage disciplines and their specialist trade.
Visitor activities and opening hours
Educational and interactive stage activities are scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Visitor prize draws offer the chance to win a falcon and the latest iPhone devices. The programme is for visitors.
The exhibition is open at Expo Al Dhaid on Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 10pm.
