The public announcement gives no timetable for the planned activities and names no individual events.
Emarat and Shabab Al Ahli announced their sponsorship partnership on 8 October 2026. The organisations say it will support sports and community activities for young people and families. Football fans are also among the intended participants.
Zawya says the planned activations include player appearances, fan campaigns, joint social and digital content, matchday activities and Emarat branding on selected club assets and platforms.
Activities are central to the agreement
For Shabab Al Ahli, the arrangement offers a way to reach supporters outside football matches. Emarat, the Emirates Petroleum Company, says the collaboration supports platforms that bring people together and encourage youth participation. The company also describes it as part of its wider support for youth participation. It says that support extends to active lifestyles and the UAE sports ecosystem.
Zawya and Al Bayan describe the arrangement as a sponsorship partnership, not an acquisition of a stake in the club. The published reports do not disclose its financial value or duration.
Club and company leaders attend signing
Shabab Al Ahli vice-chairman Khalifa Saeed Suleiman and administrative director Dr Khalid Al Zahid attended the signing. Media and marketing adviser Abdul Latif Al Sayegh was also present. Emarat chief executive Burhan Al Hashemi attended with Ahmed Abdullah Al Ahli, head of human resources and corporate support. Mohammed Rashid Mehrizi, head of fuel operations, supply and trading, was there too, according to Zawya.
