The location now depends on talks with other Gulf parties. El Balad reported in late September that those talks were continuing and the venue remained undecided. There is no final agreement yet.
The 2024 Egyptian Super Cup included a Zamalek-Pyramids semi-final at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi, as reported by Ahram Online.
UAE hosting is no longer assured
The Super Cup has been held in the Emirates in recent years. Al Mashhad reported that the UAE had hosted the competition at least nine times by the 2025 edition, with matches in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. The available information does not explain why the UAE Pro League declined.
UAE clubs have also been involved in cross-border football moves. One example is Shabab Al Ahli's signing of Bezerra from Zamalek. That transfer does not determine where the Super Cup will be played. A separate matter.
Emarat Al Youm reported that the 2026 tournament was being discussed as a four-team competition. Zamalek, Pyramids and Al Masry were identified as participants, while the fourth place was to be decided by a wild card.
Venue talks remain open

The report also said the Egyptian Football Association had not officially confirmed the venue. Reports on 21 and 22 September likewise said there was no formal agreement with the UAE. The Egyptian side was awaiting formal proposals or confirmation.
Officials are weighing other Gulf parties as potential hosts. The competition could be held outside Egypt, but no country or organising body has been confirmed. The Abu Dhabi plan remains provisional.
Recent UAE hosting does not guarantee the next edition will return there. The next host remains undecided until the talks produce a final agreement. The UAE Pro League's refusal leaves that decision open.
