Kevin Reiterer won the Pro Ski GP class at the 2026 World Jet Ski Championship finals in Lake Havasu, securing the crown for XBJ Racing under the leadership of Sheikh Maktoum bin Butti Al Maktoum and Sheikh Rashid bin Butti Al Maktoum.

More than 250 riders from dozens of countries gathered in Lake Havasu, Arizona, for the event held from October 8 to 11 at Red Rock Watercraft. XBJ Racing Team left with the 2026 World Jet Ski Championship Pro Ski GP title after Kevin Reiterer won the class. Thairath English described the event as the 45th IJSBA World Finals. It was also the second round of the WGP#1 Waterjet World Series.

Reiterer's second-moto win in Ski GP1 put him 14.999 seconds ahead of O'Hara and Koch Hansen, according to Gulf Times.

The team's campaign was led by Sheikh Maktoum bin Butti Al Maktoum and Sheikh Rashid bin Butti Al Maktoum. Mohammed Al Hareez and Khalid Al Hooti were also part of the squad. Al Bayan reported that technical and organizational work formed part of the preparations.

That preparation preceded a race in which first-moto winner Quinten Bossche retired on the opening lap. He was later disqualified for a course violation.

The result adds to the UAE's presence in international sport. Wathnan Racing's Doncaster success in another racing discipline was also among the UAE-linked results reported from overseas competition.

XBJ Racing said the Pro Ski GP crown would spur further development as the team competes for international titles while representing the UAE.
