Sharjah riders lead the 1.40m class

Thirteen riders entered Sunday's single-round class. Three finished without faults. Sharjah riders filled the first seven places, a strong showing at the league's highest level that weekend.

The second week had 10 competitions and 18 result lists across the age groups and levels. Riders made 310 starts with 483 horses. Saturday's tally was 151 starts and 233 horses. Sunday brought 159 starts and 250 horses.

Sharjah hosts the next league week

Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club is scheduled to host week three on 10-11 October. The programme has 15 competitions and 24 result lists. It opens with a one-round class at 1.00m and ends with a 1.45m round followed by a jump-off for level-one and youth riders. Events will take place in the centre's indoor and outdoor arenas.
